Network telescopes (aka darknets) and honeynets are invaluable research and operational security infrastructure. Their complexity and the opportunities for analysis keep evolving along with the threats and unexpected behaviors they capture (e.g., IPv6, AI, higher speeds). On Monday May 11th (full day) and Tuesday 12th (half a day), 2026, the Internet Internet Intelligence Lab @ Georgia Tech will host an invitation-only workshop to discuss novel research, preliminary results, and new data access opportunities related to the collection and analysis of traffic captured at v4/v6 telescopes and honeynets. It will be a 30-40 people event hosted at Georgia Tech in the Coda building. The invite-list is small and includes leading academic researchers, industry practitioners, and government partners, with the expectation to discuss topics in an open and collaborative manner. This will be an invite-only in-person event. We will focus on having open discussions and sharing preliminary findings, operational challenges, and novel datasets. The workshop will follow the Chatham House Rule.
