The Internet Intelligence Research Lab is an academic research lab at the School of Computer Science, College of Computing of Georgia Tech.
Our research focuses on the intersection of Internet measurement, data science, and cybersecurity.
Mission
Our mission is to safeguard and strengthen the Internet's infrastructure. We achieve this by:
- Developing innovative methods for measuring and mapping Internet infrastructure and resources as well as various phenomena, such as malicious activity or incidents.
- Building tools like IODA, BGPStream, and GRIP that allow for open, real-time, continuous monitoring of the Internet.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to conduct research to understand the "why" behind internet phenomena, particularly those with political motivations and implications.
Vision
We envision a future where the Internet is accessible, safe, and secure. Through our research efforts, we aim to create a more resilient and trustworthy Internet ecosystem for everyone.
