This page contains a list of Iranian Networks — i.e., Internet Autonomous Systems (AS) —compiled by our research lab and collaborators. This dataset was compiled through the automated processing of publicly available data and supplemented by the manual collection of additional public information.
The primary purpose of this dataset is to support efforts to document and monitor Internet censorship in Iran. For example, it can assist researchers and analysts in assessing connectivity within specific Autonomous Systems (ASes) and regions in Iran, particularly when using tools such as the IODA dashboard. This dataset is part of a broader initiative by our lab to collect similar data for countries significantly affected by Internet disruptions and censorship. More broadly, our work aims to advance research and data-driven analysis of the Internet, grounded as much as possible in open and accessible data.
